Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal to join our Conveyancing Team in Deal, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to our fee earners, assisting with a mixed caseload of commercial and residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a full secretarial service to fee earners, coordinating all workloads and prioritizing as required.
  • Assist with a mixed caseload of commercial and residential property transactions, including opening files, preparing client care letters, and audio typing.
  • Experience in using the Land Registry Portal, requesting office copies, submitting registration, and preparing SDLT forms.
  • Prepare completion statements, deal with post-exchange and post-completion formalities, and close and archive completed files.
Requirements:
  • Strong academics and excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to work in a team, willing to assist others, and prioritize the needs of the team.
  • Previous relevant experience within residential and commercial conveyancing, with excellent attention to detail and IT skills.
