Contract Manager

FM Conway Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to join our Structures division. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will provide support to the pre-contracts team in preparing PQQs and tenders. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits.
The Contract Manager role involves:
- Providing up-to-date budget and programming information at all project key stages
- Ensuring the project is set up correctly with the appropriate resources allocated for the works
- Managing and coordinating with the project team to ensure all relevant road space applications, permits, and approvals are in place and maintained throughout the works duration
- Reviewing and ensuring compliance with subcontractor pre-start meetings, minutes, and documentation prior to commencement on site
- Drafting, coordinating, and reviewing subcontract contract documents with the project Quantity Surveyor and internal commercial/contract team
We are looking for a professional and focused Contract Manager with demonstrable experience working on temporary works, excavations, and concrete work. You will be confident in a client-facing role and have worked on NEC/JCT contracts. You will also have exceptional understanding of resource planning, value and cost management, stakeholder engagement, and design management experience. This role will involve travel to other company locations, so you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
