Job Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Teacher to join our team at East Point Academy. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering outstanding education to pupils through the delivery of high-quality teaching
- Providing active support for the School's Policy and Procedures
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- An appropriate degree and other qualifications required for the award of QTS
- Qualified Teacher Status (trainees should be on track to achieve QTS before taking up the post)
- Experience of teaching the subject in a secondary school across the 11-16 age range
- Experience of the wider role of a teacher in the personal development of pupils, including the main responsibilities of a form tutor
- Knowledge of the statutory requirements concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection
