Housekeeper (Bank Contract)

Hutton Park Care Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a bank contract basis.
We are a privately-owned, luxurious care home located in the Scottish seaside resort of Largs, providing high-quality care for 37 residents.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empty waste bins and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Vacuum and dust all areas, including furniture and fixtures
- Shake out cushions and clean dining rooms, lounges, and toilets
- Clean taps, sinks, and soap dispenser outlets
- Spot clean all floorings and wash bathroom, toilet, and en-suite floors
- Polish mirrors and clean pipe work in toilets
- Dust handrails and radiators, and move mobile furniture to vacuum and dust beneath/behind
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins and dust and polish furniture and windowsills
- Wash lino floors and shampoo carpets as requested by the Home Manager
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings, and restock toiletries, soaps, and towels when required
