We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join our team at Athwal Resourcing. As a Finance Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day finances of our client operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Management Accounts: Ensure timely and accurate financial information and prepare management accounts packs.
  • Team Management: Manage a small accounts team, ensuring accurate and timely data input.
  • Payroll: Be responsible for payroll and liaise with external accountants for year-end statutory accounts.
  • External Reporting: Liaise with tax authorities for VAT and be the point of contact for external accountants.
  • Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements for financial control and management.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant or Qualified by Experience (CIMA/ACMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Previous financial control experience and management account production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • High degree of commercial acumen and integrity.
