Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engine Fitter to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd. As an Engine Fitter, you will be responsible for stripping down and refurbishing engine components with precision and skill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip down and refurbish engine components with precision and skill.
  • Clean and prepare parts for reassembly, ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing on reassembled components to guarantee functionality.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings accurately to meet specifications.
  • Utilise a range of hand and power tools daily, including spanners and torque wrenches.
  • Maintain machinery records meticulously, completing all necessary paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a busy workshop environment, ideally within the engine or mechanical fitting sector.
  • Demonstrable skills in working with engines and an ability to read engineering drawings.
  • A hands-on approach to problem-solving and a passion for mechanical engineering.
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • A team player attitude, able to work effectively with contractors and suppliers.
