Job Title: PR Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled PR Coordinator to join our Corporate Affairs team at AGS Airports. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day public relations activities, shaping and protecting AGS' corporate image, and creating compelling content that strengthens our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of the public relations strategy, including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics.
  • Draft and design various types of PR content, such as newsletters, media announcements, and speeches.
  • Edit and proofread press releases, videos, and presentations to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor and track media coverage, examining and documenting relevant PR metrics.
  • Maintain contact databases and mailing lists, updating them as necessary.
  • Create project-specific media lists to support the PR Manager.
  • Manage the press clip archive and scan materials for reports.
  • Coordinate calendar content for events, activities, and press releases, ensuring timely and relevant content.
  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions, providing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Help organize and execute various PR events and campaigns.
  • Edit video and presentation content assigned.
  • Draft and distribute content, such as newsletters and releases.
  • Conduct research to support the Public Relations planning process.
  • Perform general administrative duties.
  • Support crisis and compliance communications, ensuring information provided aligns with the business strategy.
  • Create a positive experience for all customers, both internal and external, by instilling high levels of customer service across our teams and the wider business.
  • Model exemplar leadership behaviors as a member of the AGS team.
  • Lead proactive innovation across your team and the wider business, promoting and encouraging everyone to try new ideas, work together, and succeed.
Requirements:
  • Degree in PR, journalism, marketing, or related field, or one year's work experience in PR.
  • Knowledge of PR and marketing processes and best practices.
  • Passion for the PR industry and its best practices.
  • Familiarity with video production.
  • Knowledge of copywriting and editing.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Aptitude in presenting and public speaking.
  • Attention to detail.

The role is an integral member of the AGS corporate affairs team, operating with a high degree of autonomy. It requires personal drive, motivation, initiative, and innovation. The role holder must demonstrate strength in coordinating and creating content, as well as resilience to achieve highly effective outcomes.
