About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our team at Avove. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the management and delivery of design projects from feasibility to detailed design, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of engineers to achieve exceptional project performance, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Design Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality designs that meet technical and project requirements, working closely with stakeholders to resolve any issues.
  • Client Management: Act as the single point of contact for clients, providing technical reports, permits, and responses to queries as required.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new projects and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and processes to improve design delivery, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in people management, project management, and design delivery.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
