Key Responsibilities

As a Geospatial Modelling Analyst at Direct Line Group, you will collaborate with various teams to develop risk prices and manage geographic risk models, data, and intelligence.

  • Work closely with pricing and underwriting teams to establish risk prices and maintain geographic risk models, data, and associated intelligence.
  • Support high-priority projects within pricing and underwriting, focusing on GIS technology and geospatial rating tools.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of internal and external geographic data used within Commercial Lines and seek leading data providers.
  • Continuously improve statistical validity and efficiency of modelling, projection processes, and techniques.
  • Deliver projects to the pricing and underwriting team within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with Direct Line Group policies, statutory requirements, governance controls, and risk minimum standards, ensuring timely completion of risk and audit actions and minimizing reputational risk.
