We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at the South East Consortium. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and resourcing our frameworks and dynamic models.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement process for our frameworks and dynamic models, ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations.
- Work closely with internal teams to implement framework/product management and reporting processes, analyzing data to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing guidance and expertise on procurement best practices.
- Lead a small team of procurement professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to support their development and growth.
- Proven experience in public procurement, particularly with frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems.
- Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and ability to procure products under the new regime.
- Professional membership of CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) at level 4 or higher, or willingness to achieve level 4 within 12 months.
- Desirable: knowledge of leaseholder consultation processes and the housing sector.
