Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Animator to join our team of talented game developers. As a Senior Animator, you will play a critical role in bringing our game assets to life, collaborating closely with our Art Director and the wider art team to create animations that are visually stunning, realistic, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality character animations using industry-leading software and tools, ensuring seamless integration with our game engine.
  • Develop animation concepts that align with our artistic vision, working closely with the Art Director and other team members to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Implement animations into the game engine, iterating based on feedback from the team and playtesting to ensure optimal performance and visual fidelity.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve animation quality and efficiency, driving innovation and excellence within the team.
  • Mentor and guide junior animators, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in animation techniques and technology, applying this knowledge to enhance our game development process.

Requirements

  • Strong background in technical art or technical animation, with a proven track record of creating high-quality character animations.
  • Expert knowledge of animation software such as Maya, 3DS Max, or Blender, with proficiency in rigging and skinning characters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of animation principles and techniques.
