About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our Operations Management Team, you will be responsible for leading on all design-related activities and supporting projects across our Midlands & West frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design delivery strategies for each project, working closely with the Senior Design Manager and Pre-Construction lead.
  • Coordinate all design work through preconstruction and construction, ensuring effective communication with project management teams, In-House and external Engineering teams, and clients.
  • Manage design resource forecasting and outlook, reporting on design performance and change control.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery and meet client requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in design and construction programmes, with a good understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience in D and D environment, with knowledge of BIM and Common Data Environments.
  • Membership of relevant Professional Body, with a degree in Engineering, Design, Architecture or Construction Management.
