About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Instrumentation Sales Specialist to join our team at Taylorollinson Ltd. The successful candidate will be based from home and spend four days per week visiting laboratory and in-process customers, managing a large territory with some overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding client technical requirements and applications to match suitable products
  • Good knowledge of lab and in-process chemical techniques and reaction equipment
  • Communicating technical features and benefits of product ranges to customers
  • Providing technical demonstrations, either alone or with colleagues' support
  • Selling direct or working with distributors where appropriate
  • Staying up-to-date on competitor products, new innovations, and clients' needs
  • Attending conferences and exhibitions as required
  • Achieving accurate forecasting and sales planning to manage pipeline opportunities and meet KPIs and revenue targets
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree qualification in Chemistry (or related) or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience
  • Technical competence with laboratory instrumentation and willingness to learn new product specifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous field sales experience selling laboratory instrumentation (or consumables, reagents, and services)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Fluent English language skills
