The role comes with an impressive salary package, including an OTE of £40K+ in the first year, as well as a range of benefits such as PPE, Bonus Scheme, Company Pension Scheme, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar, with technical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics. Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, or Ex forces will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment
  • Ordering of parts and ensuring accurate stock levels and movement records
  • Completing paperwork accurately and within stipulated timeframes
  • Managing work-in-progress and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Reporting unsafe practices or potential hazards
  • Maintaining familiarity with policies and procedures
  • Attending training courses to stay up-to-date with equipment knowledge

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar
  • Preferably served a full apprenticeship
  • Technical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics
