**Job Title:** Meat Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Meat Specialist to join our team at Meatex Trading Ltd. As a Meat Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring customer confidence in the availability of fresh meat cuts and pre-packaged meat products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in butchery skills, either behind the butcher counter or in a professional kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing meat primals for sale to company specification, including cutting, pricing, weighing, steaking, dicing, mincing, boning, flavouring, and wrapping using the appropriate equipment.

You will also be required to produce meat cuts based on customer requirements, inclusive of our online customers. In addition, you will use your skills to produce multiple different cuts of meat from different types of primal.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Ensure customer confidence in availability of fresh meat cuts and pre-packaged meat products.
• Maintain quality, fresh and attractive displays of food throughout the trading day to promote sales.
• Prepare meat primals for sale to company specification.
• Produce meat cuts based on customer requirements.
• Use skills to produce multiple different cuts of meat from different types of primal.

**Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
