About the Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activities Assistant at Barchester Healthcare. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering imaginative and engaging activities to our residents, ensuring they can enjoy a fulfilling and motivational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a varied activities programme that caters to the diverse interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a range of pastimes, social activities, outings, and events
  • Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities, promoting their independence and involvement with family and friends
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events and activities, ensuring a high-quality experience for residents
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with older adults, has a creative approach to activity planning, and is able to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
