Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will report into the Lead Shift Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuous running of production machines by minimising downtime during day-to-day operations, performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify spare parts to effect repairs using machine manufacturer's manuals and order through stores.
  • Maintain electrical standards and record in accordance with ISO 9001 and 9002.
  • Maintain and improve plant efficiency through planned PPMs of production machines.
  • Carry out weekly detailed inspections and maintain log and defect report sheets.
  • Report any dangerous occurrences or unsafe machine conditions.
  • Undergo training as required by the needs of the business.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must hold an electrical engineering qualification (ideally at least HND L5) and have experience of working in an FMCG production environment. Ideally, experience with steam systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PPM/TPM maintenance operations, and have worked with PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC motors, drivers, and inverters.
