We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Lab team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our cardiac catheter lab.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheter procedures, including scrubbing and circulating for a variety of procedures.
- Support recovery and post-procedure care for patients, including those who have received general and local anaesthetics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient lab operations.
- Participate in education and training initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in cardiovascular nursing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and lab efficiency.
- Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.
- Experience in cardiac catheter lab nursing or a related specialty.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work independently.
- Knowledge of current issues in acute healthcare and evidence-based practice.
