Crime Management Bureau Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crime Management Bureau Supervisor to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective supervision of professional bodies and the prevention of financial crime.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading and supporting relationships with professional bodies, including planning and running supervisory visits, analysing findings, and making judgements about the effectiveness of their anti-money laundering supervision. You will also support other members of the team, participate in professional body visits, and engage proactively with stakeholders.

- Critically assess and evaluate information to form judgements about progress against anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing standards
- Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders

We welcome applications from candidates who are looking for flexible arrangements. Many of our staff work flexibly, including working part-time, staggered hours, and job shares. This means that as part of the application process, you will be able to select your preference of which office location you would like to work from.
We support hybrid working, which means you will be able to work from home up to 60% of the time over a month, with the remainder of your time in one of our three office locations.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of stakeholder management in order to build and maintain professional working relationships internally and externally
- Experience in a supervisory or financial-crime related role, legal, accounting or insolvency background, or experience of the sectors being regulated
- Experience of using analytical skills to make judgements and recommendations
You will also need to demonstrate good sense of judgement and personal accountability, ability to apply a risk-based approach to supervision, and good communication skills.
