About the Role:

GAP Pump Services provides expert advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including a wide range of submersible pumps, control panels, and cable systems. As a Regional Submersible Pump Engineer, you will play a key role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire the equipment they need, when they need it, through efficient servicing and maintenance of submersible pumps and services equipment within the GAP fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel across regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment, including submersible pumps, hoses, cables, control panels, and generators.
  • Accurately update service records and maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work effectively under pressure and demonstrate a customer-focused approach, with a strong commitment to teamwork and a valid driving license.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a pump engineer role with a relevant electrical qualification.
  • Sound and current knowledge of submersible pumps.
  • 18th Edition/City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 is highly desirable.
