Your new company is a global manufacturing business with an established reputation in their sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to join their finance team on a 6-month assignment in Buxton.
Your new role will involve acting as an Interim FP&A Manager to assist the business through a period of commercial change. You will be based in the Buxton office and report to the Site Financial Controller. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate records, including bills and materials and waste
- Providing analysis of cost and manufacturing variances
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure issues are actioned
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with relevant experience of cost accounting. You will need strong communication skills and be able to build relationships outside of finance to ensure reporting is improved to encourage better strategic and business decision-making.
