We are currently working with Cranleigh Scientific Ltd, a leading company in the field of energy storage, to strengthen its R&D team on a permanent, full-time basis. As the company continues to grow and expand its innovative solutions, they are now looking to hire an Electrochemist Researcher to contribute to the advancement of their energy storage applications.
As an Electrochemist Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, developing electrochemical processes, and contributing to the development of novel energy storage solutions.
The ideal candidate should hold a PhD in Chemistry (or closely related), coupled with a strong background in electrochemistry and understanding of electrochemical cells (batteries, supercapacitors, electrolysis and/or fuel cells).
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching and evaluating performance improvements in our client's energy storage cells to achieve the potential of the technology.
- Leading and supporting the Senior Scientist on individual research projects, contributing to the setting of objectives and scheduling of work.
Key Requirements:
- PhD (Preferred) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus in electrochemistry.
- Strong background in electrochemistry and understanding of electrochemical cells.
