Job Title: Maintenance Technician Shifts Training On PLCs

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Mountain Ash facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs, and installation work, as well as implementing planned and preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, departmental procedures, company policy, and GMP.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure targets for delivery, quality, and efficiency are met.
  • Implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Communicate problems and issues which impact manufacturing schedules or maintenance plans.
Requirements:
  • HNC or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Experience in carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs, and installation work.
  • Experience with fault finding on PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and switches.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance and routine checks, including fire system tests.
  • Experience in computer systems within a production environment.
  • Ability to use drawings, manuals, and circuit diagrams appropriately.
  • Experience monitoring cooling tower systems to comply with L8 Legionella controls.
  • Experience working on injection moulding machines and associated ancillary equipment is highly advantageous.
