In this challenging Project Manager role at Austin Fraser in Portsmouth, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of our marine projects. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in the industry, you will be responsible for leading multiple system projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget while meeting industry standards.

Your key responsibilities will include defining project guidelines, allocating tasks, and documenting project progress and financial records, as well as collaborating closely with the Operations Manager and Service Department to align project goals and timelines. You will also be responsible for providing timely updates and managing client expectations, addressing project-related issues as necessary, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 procedures and all company policies and practices.

  1. Develop and implement effective project plans, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  3. Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting successes and challenges.
Essential Skills:

  1. Five or more years of experience in a similar role within the Marine industry.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Payscale Information:

We are offering a minimum annual salary of £70,000 for this exciting Project Manager opportunity.
