We are seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our Industrial Refrigeration division, you will be responsible for delivering project solutions, maintenance, and service solutions that support our customers' manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for industrial refrigeration/chiller systems
- Carry out system PPM as per contract requirements and communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Prepare detailed reports and technical communications on work carried out and submit to Service Co-ordinator and Client as required
- Ensure health and safety is at the forefront of all work activities
- Refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Recognised refrigeration qualification (e.g. C&G)
- F-GAS 2079 card and ammonia handling certification
- Experience working with HFC, Ammonia, and Co2 systems
- Experience with major manufacturers such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, and Howden
- Electrical and controls experience to identify and rectify electrical and control issues
- Ability to work without documented procedures and with limited supervision
- Full UK driving license
- Competitive salary and overtime paid at premium pay rates
- Stand by allowance, call outs, and travel paid on top of basic salary
