We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children to thrive. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, implement, and evaluate activities that promote the development of our key children, ensuring they reach their full potential.
You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, promoting strong parent-carer partnerships and ensuring the welfare, protection, health, and safety of our children.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our children, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, supporting colleagues in maintaining high standards of care and education.
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
