Role: Indirect Tax Consultant - Greek Speaking

Location: Southampton (hybrid) min 3 days in Office

Salary: Competitive

At AVASK, we are seeking a skilled Indirect Tax Consultant to join our team. As an Indirect Tax Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients worldwide with their VAT obligations, encompassing tax compliance, VAT advisory services, and e-commerce consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Law/VAT/Accountancy/Finance and be confident in communicating with clients in both Greek and English. You will work well in a team as well as independently, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality VAT consultancy and business advice to clients.
  • Calculate and file European VAT returns meticulously and promptly.
  • Advise clients on VAT liabilities and guide them on tax payments.
  • Communicate with tax offices regarding clients' accounts and obligations.
  • Conduct VAT audits/investigations in collaboration with tax offices.
  • Manage clients' accounts in coordination with the Credit Control Department.
  • Stay updated with VAT law and any changes in legislation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build trust and strong relationships with clients.
  • Represent the company professionally at events/webinars.
  • Train, support, and develop new team members.
  • Collaborate positively with the team.
