Mobile Maintenance Specialist

BAM FM is seeking a skilled Mobile Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical/Building Fabric) to join their team at the University of Chester, covering sites and campuses in the region.
This full-time position involves working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, ensuring timely completion of associated paperwork.
- Participate in a call-out rota, providing clients with comprehensive out-of-hours support.
- Take proactive measures to reduce energy consumption on site.
- Oversee visiting subcontractors, monitoring the standard of work and adherence to Health and Safety protocols.
- Achieve a flexible attitude when assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
- Execute duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
This role requires an individual with electrical qualifications, ideally holding a City & Guilds Level II/III certificate or equivalent. The ideal candidate should possess experience in electrical and building fabric maintenance, testing, and fault finding, as well as general building fabric repairs.
The successful candidate will have experience working within mobile service delivery contracts and be familiar with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), service targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
