About the Role:

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Taunton. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialize, and participate in activities
  • Teach new life skills, such as cooking and household management
  • Complete light domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assist with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night
