Job Title: Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Wernick Group Limited. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of modular buildings and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits and assist with the installation of building sections in accordance with laid-down procedures.
  • Attend pre-start meetings and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
  • Supervise lifting operations and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated.
  • Plan and produce site-specific risk assessments and method statements under the lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations 1998.
  • Take responsibility for the organisation and control of the lifting operation.
  • Check the building for defects and arrange rectification as necessary.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve set objectives.
  • Be aware of and work within the laid-down method statements, risk assessments, and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Consult with the client and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Monitor progress, track milestones, and address issues or delays proactively.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation.

Key Attributes:

  • Strong leadership skills and experience of managing sub-contract labour.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively address challenges and make sound commercial/operational judgements.
  • Candidates should hold a CSCS Card at Supervisor Level.
  • Appointed Person Qualification.
  • Candidates should hold an Enhanced DBS due to the nature of the role.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good administrative and man-management skills.
  • Must be willing to travel and stay away from time to time.
  • Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, fostering a collaborative learning culture and promoting the value of learning and development.
