Educational Support Worker

Job Overview:
A Teaching Assistant position is available at a Primary School in BS36, supporting students with ASD needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment, where the school prioritizes the well-being and development of both pupils and staff.
The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a KS1 class, collaborating with the class teacher to develop activities and adapting to the unique needs of each pupil. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced setting.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the class teacher to create engaging activities.
- Adapting activities to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Providing one-on-one support to children in a dedicated 1:1 setting, focusing on interventions and core learning.
- Assisting in assessment and documenting learning progress.
- Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
- Promoting student achievement by setting challenging goals.
