Bicester, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom Fresh Direct Full time
Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are offering a competitive salary of £27,846 per year.

The working hours will be 14:00-22:00, five days out of seven, with consecutive rest days. You will work 40 hours per week.

No prior warehouse experience is necessary; what we need is the enthusiasm to learn and the desire to do a great job. If you're friendly, ready to learn, and excited by the chance to progress, we'll provide all the training and development opportunities you need.

In this role at our Bicester depot, you'll pick, pack, and check the quality of ambient, chilled, and frozen food items for delivery. Your journey starts with a full induction, but with our support, you can opt for accredited training in forklift operation, first aid, and even HGV driving. There's no limit to your potential here.

You'll need an eye for detail and be comfortable working in a cool environment (a free thermal uniform will keep you warm). Be prepared to lift weights up to 25kg and ideally have your own transport to get to work.

In addition to a competitive monthly salary, you can look forward to:

  • Wagestream – early access to earned salary through an app that supports financial wellbeing
  • Optional additional annual leave purchase
  • Help at Hand – 24/7 GP appointments, physiotherapy, and health services for you and your family
  • Life assurance
  • Discounts on products and services through Sysco Perks
  • Purchase our products at heavily discounted prices
  • Heavily subsidised colleague canteen

Please note that owning your own transport is a requirement due to poor public links to our site.
