About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kenton Black. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for commercially and contractually managing schemes up to the value of £10 million.

About You:

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, who resides within commutable distance of Reading and has a strong understanding of the Construction industry. If you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and are looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.

About the Company:

Kenton Black is a leading Main Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. We currently enjoy a turnover of £60 million and operate within 2 key sectors; Multi-rooms & Industrial Warehouse, with the majority of the schemes that we deliver being of a new build nature. We are seeking a Commercial Lead to join our team and work on a new scheme with a contract value of £15 million and a duration of 12 months. The scheme is due to commence on site in late November 2024 and you will report to a Commercial Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company with a strong reputation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Commercially and contractually manage schemes up to the value of £10 million
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager to deliver high-quality projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
