Job Title: Dermatology Locum Consultant

Hiring a Locum Consultant Dermatologist who holds a Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent to assist with the triage of dermatology referrals as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the triage of dermatology referrals
  • Undertake investigations, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatments
  • Refer patients to Senior Consultant Dermatologist opinion, Plastic Surgeon, or Dermatology Specialist Nurse when necessary
  • Work in conjunction with and support the dermatology nurse specialist through joint review of patients and provide advice on dermatological cases
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent
  • Ability to see general dermatology patients directly referred by GPs
  • Pay rates start from £800 per day and go up to £2500 per day

As a Locum Consultant Dermatologist, you will work in conjunction with the dermatology nurse specialist and provide advice on dermatological cases. The successful candidate will have nursing support during their clinics.
