About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Recovery Worker to join our team at Belmont Recruitment in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the community on a rolling contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement.

The successful candidate will work with substance misuse clients and rough sleepers to prevent present and future homelessness through the use of our residential service. The service uses interventions to aid residents through their recovery, with a weekly timetable tailored to individual clients. You will also be working with external agencies to support residents through their journey and recovery.

As a Recovery Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and delivering interventions primarily for individuals facing complex needs related to drug use. Your role will involve providing tailored support through recovery plans, facilitating individual and group sessions, and collaborating with detoxification teams within the program. Additionally, you will offer vital treatment recovery, harm reduction advice, and interventions for blood-borne viruses (BBVs).
