Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled Planner to join our team on a 10-month temporary contract. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining delivery performance and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the order book and provide forecast dates to ensure timely delivery of piece parts.
  • Control and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain MRP planning parameters to optimize production processes.
  • Coordinate shipping of products to internal and external customers.
  • Achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
  • Expedite products through machine shops and assembly cells.
  • Coordinate supply chain activities both internally and externally.
  • Create shipping lists and manage direct customer liaison.
  • Attend meetings and assist in setting plans and priorities for teams.
  • Act on information discussed and implemented during meetings.
  • Develop and maintain reports to establish priority of workload and assemblies.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with purchasing to ensure continuity of external parts supply.
  • Assist in stores responsibilities, including issuing parts against material requests, receiving and checking components, and lean materials management.
Requirements:
  • Clear understanding of MRP systems and planning parameters.
  • Clear understanding of inventory control and supply chain management.
  • MFG-Pro knowledge is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of traceability processes.
  • Experience in Kanban systems.
  • Good communication and influencing skills.
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel, including data analysis in MS Excel).
  • Aerospace experience is an advantage.
