Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at FLOWBIRD. As a key member of our System Test Team, you will be responsible for leading the testing process, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to test management planning and RAIDS management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the testing process and ensure high-quality test results
  • Mentor and lead junior team members to develop their skills and expertise
  • Contribute to test management planning and RAIDS management
  • Oversee the defect management process for project resolution
  • Perform static testing of project/test documents/requirements
  • Write and prepare test cases and scripts
  • Deploy systems for test execution
  • Execute test cases and provide feedback to development teams
  • Schedule test activities and maintain test equipment/test environments
  • Develop and maintain generic test documentation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in System Test roles
  • Experience with software testing tools and practices
  • Evidence of system testing from planning through to delivery
  • Customer-facing experience is desirable
  • Experience with automated testing is desirable
  • ISTQB Foundation certification (or equivalent)

Core Skills:

  • MS Windows, MS Office
  • Defect Management - Jira
  • MSP experience/awareness
  • SQL experience
  • PC Literate - Very good knowledge of PCs, Windows, and PC Networks
  • Working knowledge of networking and associated protocols
  • Knowledge of software development and test processes and best practices
