We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Motion Designer to join our creative department at Currys. As the ideal candidate, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design and animation, with proven expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and After Effects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of production for TV animations and various other channels.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • TV Animation Production: Design and develop TV animations with a £2 million budget funded by Currys and its suppliers
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and impactful animated content for Online, Social, CRM, and in-store channels
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality in all motion design projects, ensuring consistency and excellence in every piece of work
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative and Motion Design Managers and other departments to align motion design projects with overall brand and marketing strategies
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in motion design to continuously bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design and animation
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and After Effects
  • Exceptional creativity and flair for animation and motion design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest standard
