About the PositionWe are currently seeking a Teaching Support Role to join our team. In this role, you will assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and activities. You will also provide individual or small group support to students who require additional help.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and activities
- Providing individual or small group support to students who require additional help
- Supervising students in and around the classroom
- Maintaining a respectful atmosphere by promoting positive classroom discipline
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience working with children
- A calm and adaptable approach to dealing with changes in the classroom
- Previous experience working with SEN children (advantageous but not required)
