About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to join our team at Envisage Recruitment Limited.

As a Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project management of design project content during all product development phases, from architecture definition to final product design.

You will manage production programmes and concept programmes, liaising with external stakeholders to manage production budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drive project requirements and accomplish project objectives.
  2. Maintain project plans and integrate with overall project plans.
  3. Support project timing, content, and quality.
  4. Plan and manage project activities and resources.
  5. Identify and manage risks.
  6. Assist/manage project cost and forecasts.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders and management.
  8. Coordinate reviews and communicate design decisions.
  9. Work with Studio Engineering and CAS to manage release dates and production schedules.
  10. Minute meetings to record decisions.
Requirements:
  1. University degree in design, engineering, or relevant work experience.
  2. Extensive project experience within automotive design.
  3. Good understanding of automotive design processes and tools.
  4. Knowledge of processes interfacing with automotive design.
  5. Ability to manage economic data and interpret program plans.
  6. Persistency to pursue targets and make decisions.
  7. Ability to foster team spirit.
  8. Experience in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier environment.
  9. High level of self-initiative and ability to work independently.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
