The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in construction and asset-related health, safety, and well-being management, with a proven ability to meet client needs in the infrastructure sector. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, acting as Principal Designer, and helping clients manage and understand their legal responsibilities in accordance with CDM regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Health and Safety consultancy services to existing and new clients
  • Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer
  • Help clients manage and understand their legal responsibilities in accordance with CDM regulations
  • Manage all commissions to ensure client expectations and Turner & Townsend's business management system are effectively discharged
  • Undertake relevant and suitable audits, as per contract requirements
  • Secure new opportunities for Health & Safety and the wider Turner & Townsend business
  • Liaise with the H/S Team to ensure consistency of service delivery and identify opportunities for developing the quality and profitability of the department

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills to generate reports and documents
  • Creative thinker
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in construction and asset-related health, safety, and well-being management
  • Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired, but expertise in the infrastructure sector and proven ability to meet client needs in that sector would be an advantage
  • Team and business management experience
  • Membership of APS - Essential
  • Full UK driving licence - Essential
  • Degree level education - Desired
  • CMIOSH or equivalent – Desired
