Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Pink Tile Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team of supply staff. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of primary-aged and secondary-aged children in our partner schools across Sussex.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on the lives of children. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students with SEND and/or SEMH needs in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Support students with their academic and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with other support staff and teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the school and students
Requirements
  • Natural ability and understanding when working with young people, especially those with SEND
  • Passion for helping and supporting children develop confidence and achievement
  • Ready to learn about the role of a Teaching Assistant and grow as you progress in your new role
  • Happy to accept a challenge, make friends with colleagues quickly, build relationships with children immediately, and be positive, resilient, and a great staff member for the day
  • Flexible - being open to exploring many TA opportunities in the area with SEND, age ranges, and schools
What We Offer

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting at £84+ per day, depending on the hours of the school looking for supplies. We also provide opportunities for professional development and growth, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Please note that this is a supply teaching assistant role, and you will be working on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. We require you to be available to work on short notice, and we will always do our best to offer work at every opportunity you have available.
