Accounts Payable Specialist

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Truro. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day AP function of multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and post accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  2. Assist in managing supplier payment runs and ensuring timely payments
  3. Produce and reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy
  4. Resolve invoice inquiries and discrepancies in a professional manner
  5. Coding of expenses invoices and receipts for accurate financial reporting
  6. Assist in the year-end audit process and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  7. Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to ensure seamless financial operations
  8. Support the Finance Manager with major projects, including system upgrades and implementations

For this role, we require a candidate with previous experience in an accounts payable function, either part/fully AAT qualified or QBE. Strong administration skills, excellent IT aptitude, and good input accuracy skills are essential. Full training on the company's accounting system will be provided.
