Flight Operations Documentalist Role

We are recruiting for a Flight Operations Documentalist to join our team based in Warton, near Preston. This is a 12-month contract role that involves generating and maintaining Flight Approved Data in line with departmental processes, Service Level Agreements, and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in researching, interpreting, and originating new and amended textual data and images for inclusion in the delivered RSAF ON/OFF aircraft technical publication suite. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of documentation to meet customer requirements.

The salary for this role is £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching and interpreting textual data and images for inclusion in the technical publication suite
  • Generating and maintaining Flight Approved Data in accordance with departmental processes and customer specifications
  • Participating in the verification of products and assisting with estimating the effects of modifications or new installations within the suite of technical data

Requirements for this role include:

  • A good understanding of engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems and standard office-style applications
  • Desirable experience of modern electronic production tool-sets, including Standard Generalised Mark-up Language
