About the Role:

The Interim Admissions Lead for MBChB and Gateway to Medicine plays a critical role in shaping the future of our students. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with academic and student education service colleagues across the Faculty of Medicine & Health and the University. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the annual admissions process for approximately 280 undergraduate students onto the MBChB programme and implementing associated policies and procedures.

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, who is able to work flexibly to carry out the requirements of this role. This interim role will be available for up to one year, and we offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 26 days holiday plus approx. 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom, and much more.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Head of Admissions for the School in managing the annual admissions process for approximately 280 undergraduate students onto the MBChB programme.
  2. Implement policies and procedures required to securely underpin the admissions cycle in line with School, Faculty and University strategy and objectives.
  3. Liaise with academic and student education service colleagues across the Faculty of Medicine & Health and the University.
