School Nurse Practice Development/Education Lead

We are seeking an experienced School Nurse to join our dynamic team at Your Healthcare CIC. As a School Nurse Practice Development/Education Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our school health service, ensuring that our interventions and activities are evidence-based and effective in promoting the health and wellbeing of school-aged children and young people.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and lead on the development and review of interventions and activities undertaken by the School Health Team, ensuring alignment with the commissioned service offer, policy, and guidance.
- Lead on the support and coordination of programmes of learning and development for pre and post-registration nursing students, new starters, and team members, promoting an effective learning environment and fostering an openness to learn.
- Provide leadership and direction to the school health team, working in collaboration with the School Health Lead and other stakeholders to achieve service goals and objectives.
- Participate in and lead on clinical governance activities, including clinical audit and research, to ensure the highest standards of care and practice.
- Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) (School Nurse or Health Visitor)
- Practice Teacher/Assessor
- Experience of working with school-aged children and their families, safeguarding children, and clinical leadership and managerial abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and agendas, and to demonstrate evidence-based practice.
