Job Description

This full-time role involves designing and planning electronic systems for medical devices. You will work closely with our mechanical and software engineers to develop reliable products with real-world impact.

Your responsibilities will include schematic capture and PCB layout, assembling prototypes, writing embedded software, and testing.

You will also be responsible for developing accurate costs of your design, debugging and testing new and old designs, and moving throughout the product life cycle from concept to mass production.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a Science or Engineering-based degree or equivalent vocational experience in the electronics industry;
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the medical sector;
  • experience in eCAD/ED software, including drawing schematics and layout PCBs;
  • good hands-on experience prototyping and reworking electronics;
  • experience working with MCUs, sensors, PMIC, and communication electronics;
  • strong experience with embedded systems and C programming;
  • experience working with Mechanical, Software & Design Engineers;
  • experience using and developing testing systems;
  • experience maintaining adherence to ISO 13485 standards.
