We are seeking a skilled Radio Content Creator to oversee our station's drivetime show.


The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating engaging content for a diverse audience.


As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing on-air presenters, collaborating with the Content Director on commercial campaigns, and upholding high editorial and production standards.


This is a full-time position that requires working from our London office.

Magic Radio, a beloved station for listeners over 35, is part of the Bauer Audio Portfolio.


We create world-class, entertaining content across radio, online, and social platforms, including our stations Magic Soul and Magic at the Musicals.


Key Responsibilities:



  2. Oversee and manage live broadcasts, ensuring smooth operation, timing, and technical quality throughout each show.
  3. Work closely with on-air talent, providing direction, support, and feedback to maintain high-energy, engaging content.
  4. Develop, produce, and edit engaging features, competitions, and interviews, tailoring them for seamless broadcast and audience appeal.
  5. Generate impactful ideas for on-air segments and social media that resonate with and captivate the audience.
  6. Collaborate on station-wide campaigns and initiatives, from brainstorming and planning to successful on-air and digital execution.
  7. Partner with the digital and social media teams to create engaging, multi-platform content that strengthens audience connection.
  8. Assist at station events, which may occasionally involve working outside regular hours or on weekends.
  9. Coordinate and manage technical aspects of off-site broadcasts to maintain production quality.

Requirements:



  2. Previous experience in radio production is essential.
  3. Good editing and automation skills for production of programs.
  4. Competent in radio scheduling software – and ability to transfer from other systems to Bauer systems (RCS/ Zetta).
  5. Ability to articulate ideas and support projects and ideas independently.
  6. Awareness of Ofcom Broadcasting Code.
