About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious non-audit assurance expert to join our ESG team as the Director of Assurance & Advisory. As a key member of our team, you will lead a growing team of experts and deliver ESG assurance and advice to clients in various industry sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to sustainability/ESG regulations and reporting requirements, serving as a subject matter expert within the firm.
  • Originate and develop a pipeline of prospects, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Ensure the team's practices and service offerings are compliant with assurance standards.
  • Partner with board-level executives on complex ESG issues, negotiating and influencing as needed.
  • Utilize your understanding of ESG and market insights to identify opportunities for client coverage and growth.
  • Maintain the quality of engagements, focusing on improvement and feedback.
  • Motivate and encourage the team, providing timely constructive feedback.
  • Lead the ESG assurance team through an exciting period of growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • Experience leading non-audit assurance teams specializing in ESG.
  • Experience designing and implementing non-audit assurance work programs.
  • Comfortable delivering ESG advisory projects, including double materiality assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments.
  • High-level familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards (ISSB, CSRD, etc.).
  • Ideal candidate holds a qualified ACA designation.
