About the Role

  • This position involves working with the Operations team to support the manufacturing areas by developing, verifying, and validating new and existing processes.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Team leaders to monitor and interrogate KPIs, assisting with continuous improvement projects.
  • They will also resolve manufacturing problems using data and root cause analysis tools, implementing lean manufacturing and kaizen principles throughout the manufacturing processes.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A relevant manufacturing/engineering degree or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification.
  • Experience with FMEA, Kaizen/A3 process improvement, and Poka Yoke techniques.
  • An understanding of design and production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and rework.
